You will need:

  • 1/4th cup of dates
  • ½ a banana
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)

How to:

Soak all of the dates in warm milk for about 30 minutes and go about your business. Next, add all the ingredients into a blender and churn it well to make a yummy shake. Banana is filled with iron and milk is known for its protein consistency. Pour a tall glass of delectable banana and date shake. Enjoy it while watching the sunset.

Chicken Salad Wraps:

This recipe is for the non-vegetarian lovers. It is tangy, tasty and filled with protein.

You will need:

  • ½ cup of lemon juice
  • 1/3rdcup of Tabasco sauce
  • ¼th cup of sugar
  • 4 cups of shredded lettuce or cabbage leaves
  • 3 cups of shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 1 cup of grated carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ¼th Tbsp of crushed red pepper
  • 8 flour rotis or tortillas (if available)
  • 2/3rdcup of slivered fresh mint

How to:

Add lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, red pepper, sugar, garlic and whisk until the sugar dissolves. Warp the 8 flour rotis or tortillas in a silver foil and heat for ten minutes. In a large bowl add the shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato, carrot and mint. Mix the ingredients well and add the chicken dressing prepared earlier. Place the chicken mix on the tortillas or rotis and serve.

  • ½ cup of honey
  • 2/3rd cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 ¾ cup of flour

How to:

Sift the flour in a bowl. Add honey, yogurt, vegetable oil and mashed bananas in a bowl, mix it well.  Gradually add the flour and mix. Stir well, till the mixture is without any air bubbles. Later grease a muffin pan with some butter or oil. Add the fluffy mixture to it. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes.
